For some reason, towards the end of the work day, I felt pretty tired and beat up. I hadn’t worked out in a couple of days, and sometimes my body aches when I haven’t gotten the muscles moving much.
Well, I went to the gym at work anyway, and hit the bike pretty heavy, a 20 minute hill session that I ended up doing on the highest setting. Got some fatigue and lactic acid goin’ there, lemme tell ya. Then one set each of dumbbell curls/militaries, back hyperextensions and curl-ups on the hyperextension bench, leg curls and leg extensions. That’s all I did, though with some decent weight on the different exercises.
About halfway through I actually felt a little woozy, and a touch o’ nausea–just enough to know that I was taxing my system.
Man–I was tired when I got outta there and hit the showers. I’ve eaten a meal by now and feel better, but I still can feel my legs! But my knees feel better and my joints aren’t aching. I’m gonna hit the sack pretty soon, though. Mmmmm…
